Metallica to embrace file sharing...Hypocrits.
Well. Well. Well. It appears the forefathers of the anti-file sharing resistance are starting to go back on their word. Metallica is currently considering following in the footsteps of Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead by releasing new music for free via the internet. But it won't be soon. They still have a deal with Warner Bros. and their upcoming release in September will most likely follow in the old school format of traditional release.
However, the band recently announced a new website -MissionMetallica.com - where you will be able to hear some of the new album before it's released, plus there will be behind the scenes footage of the making of the new untitled album.
Brian Johnson says new AC/DC album is "excellent"
AC/DC vocalist Brian Johnson recently told a Washington DC radio station that the new album is "absolutely excellent." There's still no official word on whether the rumors about an upcoming farewell tour are accurate. I'll keep you posted, right here on this page...stay tuned.
Guns N Roses Reality Show???
For you GnR fans, this should amount to a pretty exciting year. Not only is Chinese Democracy reportedly finished but if it is released by the end of 2008, EVERYONE IN AMERICA WILL GET A DR. PEPPER.
Now internet rumors are abound that there might be a REALITY SHOW released in conjunction with Chinese Democracy. Guns N Roses denies this on their homepage, but we shall see...
